Dear Beloved in Christ:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Copts (Christians of Egypt) face severe persecution under Islam. I can tell that at least a Copt is killed every day. It is always happening that we have mass funerals to bury our loved ones that killed by Muslims for no reason except for their Christian faith. This is the normal daily life of Christians who live in Muslim countries.
On Saturday, January, 2000, while Christians were celebrating the new year, Muslims attacked Christians of El-Kosheh village, Sohag Province. They slaughtered 21 Christians by cutting their throats and they burned other Christians alive. They looted their homes. Hundreds were wounded.
On Friday, October 21, 2005, 15,000 Muslims attacked Christians of Muharrem Bay in Alexandria. They destroyed many churches and cars owned by Christians. They burned and looted many businesses owned by Christians.

Christians are persecuted and discriminated against by Muslims not only in the Egyptian community but also inside the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt.

I just got off the phone with a Coptic lady. She is complaining about Muslims taking over the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt. Many Copts (Christians of Egypt) brought to my attention the same problem. I myself experienced this problem while in Egypt. Despite the fact I was granted asylum by the American embassy in Cairo in 1996 through American agencies that defend human rights of the persecuted church, a Muslim named Magdy Zahran gave me a hard time to get my official paper done. Magdy Zahran insulted me and my Christian faith. He accused me falsely that I will go to America to attack Islam. I assured him that if he believes that Islam is revealed by God, he should believe that no man can be a threat to God's revelation. I told him that we Christians believe that even the gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church (Isaiah 54:17; Matthew 16:18). I don't know if Magdy Zahran is still working for the American embassy in Cairo or not. But I DO BELIEVE that Magdy Zahran and Muslims who are like Magdy Zahran have to be removed from power. Egypt has many SADDAMS too. Muslims have been persecuting Christians for over 1400 years. It is time for JUSTICE to be done!

Is there a way that we discuss this problem with the American administration and have the eyes of the American Congress opened to what is going on inside the American embassy in Cairo and around the world?
Could we address this problem as a part of the COPTIC PROBLEM?
Could we ask that a certain percentage of the American embassy employees have to be Copts (Christians of Egypt)?

I'm not talking about getting the American government involved in issues deal with religions. I understand that in America the State and Church are separate. I'm talking about Human Rights. Christians should have equal rights the same as Muslims. Christians are treated like DIRT by Muslim employees even inside the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt. Muslims have been persecuting Christians for over 1400 years. It is time of JUSTICE to be done! The American aid should be given to states which promote democracy and respect human rights of minorities.

If you are a Coptic Christian, just try to apply for a visa at the American Embassy in Cairo. Once you pass through the gate, you will feel as if you are inside a mosque in Afghanistan. Posters of "Islam is a religions of Peace", "Islam means peace", "The life of Muslims in the US", "Islam is the fastest growing religion in the US", in addition to images of American mosques are posted everywhere in the American embassy in Cairo.

If you are not a Muslim, try to apply for a job at the US embassy in Cairo, you will wait and wait forever without a response, because - according to an embassy employee - your application will be shredded in pieces and thrown in the garbage by the director of the embassy HR, who is a veiled fanatic Muslim woman.
Over the past few years, the number of Coptic employees at the US embassy in Cairo has declined significantly, while the number of Muslim employees has increased significantly. And according to visa applicants, who are Copts, embassy consular officers sometimes ask if they are going to the US to talk about the Muslim persecution of Christians in Egypt!

It happened again today. A Coptic applicant for a visa was asked if she had intended to go to the United States in order to talk about the persecution of Christians in Egypt! She was then denied the visa. (The name of this individual and the details on this incident are available upon request).

If the US has declared a war on terror, it ought to look at its own backyard and at its gates overseas. We believe that an investigation is long overdue over the behavior of some "fanatical" and "extremist" employees at the US embassies overseas. How do such individuals pass a background check!

تحركت ، ولكن ليس من اجل الانتصار للأقباط بعد إثارة القضية فى الإعلام الأمريكى ، بل من أجل الفشخرة الكاذبة وكل واحد يقول انه هو اللى عمل الموضوع ! ووصل الأمر الى محاولة عرقلة جهود الآخرين وهكذا ضاع حق الأقباط
الكثيرين من اقباط المهجر مقرفين ومجموعة من المرضى نفسيا بحب الظهور .
ليس كل ما يلمع ذهب.

طرد 20 موظفا مصريا (مسلما) من السفارة الأمريكية

حول ما تردد عن إقدام السفارة الأمريكية في القاهرة على طرد نحو 20 موظفا مصريا من العاملين فيها ، قدم نائب حزب الكرامة تحت التأسيس سعد عبود بيانا عاجلا في مجلس الشعب إلى وزير الخارجية أحمد أبو الغيط طالب فيه الحكومة بتقديم إيضاحات عاجلة إلى البرلمان حول الحقائق الكاملة بشأن هذه القضية .. مؤكدا ضرورة تقديم احتجاج عاجل إلى السفير الأمريكي في القاهرة ردا على نية طرد العاملين المصريين المسلمين .
وأشار النائب إلى أنه بغض النظر عن مصداقية المتحدث الإعلامي للسفارة الأمريكية والتي نفى فيها طرد 20 موظفا مصريا مسلما فإن ما حدث أو مجرد إثارته بمثابة دق ناقوس الخطر لما يمكن أن يتعرض له المصريون والعرب والمسلمون في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بصفة عامة .. مشيرا إلى أحداث المداهمات والتوقيفات للعديد منهم داخل أمريكا ، واعتقال البعض دون تهمة محددة أو حتى إجراء تحقيق .
وأشار إلى أن المناخ السياسي الأمريكي والأوروبي السائد حاليا ضد كل ما هو عربي أو إسلامي يثير الشكوك حول مصير المصريين العاملين في السفارات الممثلة لتلك الدول مطالبا بضرورة تأمينهم ضد الأخطار التي يتعرضون لها وحالات الفصل التعسفي التي ترتكب ضدهم لأسباب واهية ، خاصة وأنه معروف عن الولايات المتحدة رغم زعمها احترام حقوق الإنسان والدفاع عنها أنها مازالت تتبع سياسات الفصل العنصري بين السود والبيض هناك بل وارتكبت أبشع الانتهاكات ضد أبسط حقوق الإنسان في سجن أبو غريب في العراق ومعتقل جوانتانامو الشهير وباعتراف السلطات الأمريكية نفسها .
وأعرب النائب عن خشيته من إقدام المسئولين في سفارات الدول الغربية في القاهرة على اتخاذ خطوات عملية لطرد المصريين بصورة مقننة من خلال تخفيض رواتبهم الشهرية وتعرضهم للقسوة في التعامل مطالبا بفتح باب التدخل لدى هذه السفارات لوضع الحماية التأمينية اللازمة لهم .
وأشار إلى ضرورة أن تطول تلك الإجراءات أيضا العاملين المصريين في فروع البنوك الأمريكية والأجنبية في مصر لحمايتهم ضد أية قرارات مفاجئة يتعرضون لها وإنقاذهم من أي محاولة لقطع أرزاقهم .
