Dear Zoro and the others
Relax man the people who are working here are volunteers, they have lives and families… I was trying to log on for months, I sent million messages with no reply, I thought the forum will not get back to work ever…
But this is not a reason to take my frustration on the people whom are sacrificing their time, risking their welfare to keep this forum working…
Easy man and pray… it works…sometimes…

after I wrote the above, I found that there were only 15 membership working, and you complained that you had only 8 replies??? you were lucky to have that much.

The forum is back...but

Now I read the whole story about the forum and let me say few words:

I am personally sorry for the time it took to fix the forum. As Samy said, all those working on the board are volunteers and have lives and things to worry about. We have moved all our web sites to new servers, which was the reason we did not want to activate the new registration via email until we did that. It took longer than we thought it will take, but thank GOD it is now done.
I am not worried about the site being attacked again, this time we have many backup systems and if it gets attacked, it will be back on line in few hours no more.- The only reason the board was down for long time is that we don’t have lots of technical volunteers. Most people that we give trust to give access to our servers are not very technical. So, Timo is the one who is responsible for this. When I gave access to other Copts, they ended up acting like children and at times threaten to attack the server themselves, after we gave them access. This was very disappointing and made me very careful of who I ask to help and who I accept help from. However, we are now working on creating a whole team of technical people to work on the forum. So if you know someone or if you are technical enough to work, please email me at [email]mike@copts.com[/email]
Finally, the forum was not high on the priority because its membership dropped. I want all of us to work on building it backup to have to at least 5000. I want to see the average daily log on in about 500 members daily. I want most of them to be from Egypt if possible. So, now it is your turn to help. Publicize the forum to everyone you know so they can come and register and work with us.


Let us hope this time we move forward better and bigger than we were. I personally learn a lot when I read the forum, so we need to expand the membership to teach each other and learn more.

لتحقيق هذا الهدف لابد من فتح المنتدى للقراءة بدون تسجيل...معظم الناس تريد أن تعرف محتوياته قبل أن يسجلوا...
