أستاذنا الكبير جارانج يسعدنى أن أترجم لك ما طلبت ولكن اعذرنى ان لم أترجم كامل الآيات القرآنية فأنا لست بخبير فى هذا المجال.
Fatwa concerning celebrating the Valentine Fatwaa number 21203
Thanks to God Allah alone and peace be upon whom there is no prophet to come after
The committee for the scientific research and fatwas met to discuss the following:
Celebrating Valentine's day each year on February the 14th and selling red roses, and buying certain cakes, and wearing particular red T-shirts on that day.
After studying the case and reviewing it we have the following fatwa:
The only feasts we know in Islam are the First Byram and the Second Byram.
Any other feasts and celebrations regarding people
or any other occasions are not allowed.
The prophet said that whoever imitates a group of people they belong to them.
This is totally in acceptable if that group is considered to be from the infidels.
Therefore it is forbidden to celebrate this occasion. As for the stores they should not participate as well in marking the day. Allah commands us to
Cooperate in pity and rightousness and not in iniquity.
The Muslim should ask Allah for guidance. Peace of Allah is upon our prophet.
