I agree with what you say 1000% !
Copts who are screaming for democracy in Egypt are making a terrible mistake. In a country where moslems make 80-90% of the population, and fanatics make the majority of that, there is no hope for Copts to get their rights by the usual democratic means.
Egypt needs educational, religious, and cultural reform FIRST, and then we can talk about democracy.
