afanous is on a distinguished road
Personally I do not think HH Pope Shenouda should have gone to the funeral. When the Popes of Rome come to the funerals of our Popes, we will go to theirs. I know it does not sound very Christian, but there are anathemas between both churches. Why should we be the ones stepping down everytime? We will not forget what they did to the Egyptians many centuries ago, which caused the bloody Arab invasion of our country

Nevertheless, here's a list of those who attended the funeral from the two Orthodox families (Eastern and Oriental) from the link at the bottom of my message

Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I

Greek Orthodox leader, Archbishop Christodoulos

Head of Armenian Apostolic Church Catholicos Garegin II

Turkey's Armenian Patriarch Mesrob II

Romania's Orthodox Patriarch Teoctist

Bulgaria's Orthodox Rousse Bishop Neofit and Vidin Bishop Domitian

Albanian religious leaders: ...Orthodox Archbishop Anastasios of the Orthodox community.

Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church Abune Paulos
