Dear Alan Johns,

I hope you had a good Easter. While we enjoy a safe Easter in Australia, Coptic Christians in Alexandria(Egypt)are being persecuted in sectarian violence. The Copts of Egypt are a Christain Orthodox minority living in an Islamic country (a population of 10% of 73 million). The government is turning a blind eye to the attacks carried out on them by Muslims. It's beyond belief that the Muslims here, who as a minority enjoy freedom of religion & freedom of speech, keep pushing for more rights and try to impose their believes on everyone else, whereas in Egypt Christains are calling for basic human rights like those of freedom to pray inside their churches. These incidents in Egypt started when a 25 year old Muslim killed a 75 year old Christian inside the church and left 17 wounded in three separate churches. The government says the 25 year old suffers psycological problems ??????. An old scenario that only shows the corruption of the government and reflects the weird Islamic values of killing others to secure a place in their Islamic heaven.
