To me, what happens currently is nothing less then Jihad in France. It really is an "Intifada des banlieues" (Suburbs Intifada) with the same caracteristics :

- Those who organise the riots are islamists groops who carry on a "guerilla"

- Police is presented as an occupation force. The rioters claim is no less then that the police go out of their territories

- The technics to fight the police are similar to what we see in the palestinian territories : pull the police forces close to mosques to then say the mosques have been attacked, attack journalists, terrorise people, create such a mess that it disorganises the cities and even the country

It's also interesting to state that the french media & politicians tackle the events in the same way as for islamism. One must understand the rioters, what happens with them is the result of poverty and lack of efforts toward them, etc.

No one except a police syndicate (synergie-officiers) president do say the truth : these riots are the results of organised islamist bands who defend terrorism. They have far more weapons in their caves then what they showed so far.

These bands have existed & terrorised people leaving in these areas for more then a decade. They do drug traffic and organised a huge "parralel economy". But the police have tolerated them because they are frighten to penetrate into these territories (they know the guies) but also because the politicians (both local and national) accepted a bargain : peace and apparence of security against closing our eyes, this to keep control of "the Republic lost territories" .
